According to the official data of the head office, the suspect broke the lock of the front door and entered the apartment, from where he stole money in rubles and foreign currency, after which he disappeared. The police confirmed the amount of damage — it amounted to about 2.5 million rubles. Also in the headquarters confirmed the detention of the suspect, he was caught in the suburbs. The attacker turned out to be a 37-year-old man, part of the stolen was confiscated from him.
«A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 4 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation «Theft,» the department said, specifying that the sanction of the article provides for imprisonment of up to 10 years.
