The press service of the Federal Air Transport Agency reported that that Russia and Myanmar have resumed flights. There were no direct flights between the countries for 30 years.
The message says that today the first regular flight of Myanmar Airways International was made on the route Yangon — Mandalay — Novosibirsk.
In honor of the resumption of air traffic a solemn meeting of the first flight with the participation of representatives of the leadership of the region was arranged at Novosibirsk airport.
The Federal Air Transport Agency notes that the resumption of air traffic with Myanmar will provide additional opportunities for Russian tourists who, under the current conditions, choose to vacation in Southeast Asia.< /p>
