MOSCOW, September 8. Comedian and showman Alexander Nezlobin became a guest on the YouTube show Atipa, in which he admitted that after emigrating to the USA, his income dropped significantly.
The former Comedy Club resident shared that he gives concerts in the States. However, despite this, he no longer receives such fees as in Russia.
“
"This is my only business now (concerts. — Ed.). – noted Alexander Nezlobin. “He brings in ten times less than I earned from producing films.”
The showman also explained why he moved to the USA. According to him, it's all about creativity. According to the comedian, stand-up in this country is at a higher level than in others.
“»The choice fell on the States, because it always seemed to me that stand-up is at a high level only in the USA,” commented Nezlobin. “I compared it to basketball: there are our leagues, and then there is the NBA. I wanted to try to play in NBA».
After the start of the SVO, the stand-up comedian condemned the actions of the Russian authorities, and since then he has practically not appeared in his homeland.
