MOSCOW, September 8. Comedian Maxim Galkin* gave an interview to Latvian television for the first time after emigrating, in which he admitted that during tours he often visits singer Laima Vaikule in Jurmala. 
The conversation took place on the territory of the Vaikule residence, in which the artist herself took part, as well as entrepreneur Julius Krumins and Galkin*.
«
“We don’t leave here at all,” the showman noted with irony. – Moreover, I had concerts in Lithuania, and it was convenient for me to fly to Riga. I just live here with Laima. Alla (meaning Pugacheva. — Ed.) came up with this so that I would be here under supervision.»
Last year, Maxim Galkin* left the country with his wife Alla Pugacheva and their common children Harry and Lisa. According to some media reports, the family settled in Israel.
After a series of Russophobic statements at concerts abroad, the comedian was recognized as a foreign agent. He tried to challenge his status, but on June 2, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow refused him.
Galkin* repeatedly allowed himself to insult his Russian colleagues at his speeches. For example, he suggested that singer Philip Kirkorov appear in the special operation zone with the head of presenter Olga Skabeeva in his hands.
