MOSCOW, September 11 The Central Election Commission began preparations for the presidential campaign, “brick by brick,” have been laid for a long time, said the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova.
““We have already begun preparations for the next campaign. We have been laying the foundation brick by brick for a long time. Well, I’m speaking informally,” Pamfilova said at a briefing, which takes place at the CEC information center, located in the international multimedia press center “Russia” Today».
Pamfilova added that everything that the Central Election Commission does is aimed at ensuring that “this most important political event (the next campaign) takes place with dignity.”
Elections in Russia on a single voting day in most regions took place over three days and began on September 8. Elections of senior officials were organized in 21 constituent entities of the Russian Federation and additional elections of State Duma deputies for four vacant seats in single-mandate electoral districts. Elections have been organized in the DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
