NEW DELHI, September 10 Press French President Emmanuel Macron's office is jealous of Russia's success at the G20 summit in New Delhi and therefore attacks the Russian media, said Russian journalist Ekaterina Nadolskaya.
Earlier it became known that correspondents and Nadolskaya were not allowed to attend the press conference of French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the G20 summit. In response to this, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Moscow demands an apology from Paris for “racial discrimination and violation of democratic principles.”

“It seems to me that an employee from Macron’s press service was simply jealous of Russia’s success at the G20 and for some reason decided to pour out all her anger on me,” Nadolskaya said, referring to the incident. when an employee of the French press service tried to knock the phone out of the hands of a Russian journalist.

Nadolskaya added that, despite the humiliation from Macron’s press service, journalists from different countries present at the incident supported the Russian woman.
«Seeing what was happening, they began to apologize and ask me not to worry. These were journalists from India, China, Africa, there were even Europeans. Now they all come up to me to take pictures, expressing words of support for Russia,» the interlocutor said.
