VLADIVOSTOK, September 11 There is no presidential administration irreplaceable people, there is a system of complementarity, so there is an opportunity to relax, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, refusing, however, to talk about where he spent his recent two-week vacation.
In an interview with RBC, he confirmed that he took a vacation in August. “I won’t pretend to be such a zealous workaholic. In principle, I had the opportunity to go on vacation for two weeks,” Peskov said in response to a question about how often the presidential press secretary can afford a vacation.
According to him, it is not possible to take the traditional 28 days of vacation, but it is possible to rest, “so it’s a sin to complain here.” He stated that the dates of his vacation are being agreed with the president. “This, naturally, the dates are coordinated. We are somehow trying to combine this with some periods when there are fewer major events, more internal work. This is a general process. There is a system of complementarity and interchangeability in the administration. There are no irreplaceables,” the representative said Kremlin. However, when asked to say where he was vacationing, Peskov replied: “I won’t tell.”
He was also asked about his favorite vacation spots in Russia. “In Russia there is the sea. I love the sea,” he said. This, according to him, is Sochi, Crimea, the Black Sea coast. In Primorye, where the Eastern Economic Forum is taking place these days, it’s great, there are places for recreation, he noted, expressing the hope that good resorts will appear here over time.
