Elections of deputies to the legislative assembly of the seventh convocation and municipalities were held in the Ulyanovsk region on September 8, 9 and 10. On voting days, 941 polling stations operated in the region. As of July 1, 952,557 voters were registered in the Ulyanovsk region. 330,841 voters took part in the elections, which is 34.68%.
In the one-day elections to the legislative assembly of the Ulyanovsk region, which took place on September 9, 2018, the final turnout was 40.31%.
Earlier, the regional election commission reported that based on the voting results, the United Russia party will receive 11 of 18 mandates on party lists as a result of elections to the legislative assembly of the Ulyanovsk region. In addition, deputies of the party «A Just Russia — Patriots — For Truth» and «Communists of Russia» will receive one mandate each, two mandates will go to the LDPR, three mandates will be given to deputies from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.
