MOSCOW, September 11. Soviet and Russian actress Maria Skuratova died at the age of 91, the Russian Army Theater reported.
«On September 10, at the age of 91, the wonderful actress of the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army, Honored Artist of Russia Maria, passed away Moritsevna Skuratova,” the publication says.
The farewell will take place at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk crematorium. The time will be announced later.
Maria Skuratova was born on June 10, 1933 in Moscow. In 2010, she received the title of Honored Artist. Maria Skuratova served in the Russian Army Theater. She is remembered for such productions as “Virgin Soil Upturned”, “Trees Die Standing”, “Walking in Torment”, “Mandate”, “An Outside Man”, played Beulud in the play “Orpheus Descends to Hell”.
