VLADIVOSTOK, September 14 Aeroflot will use 15 billion rubles of net profit from the Pobeda low-cost airline to pay for an insurance settlement on the foreign leasing of the group’s aircraft, the carrier’s CEO Sergei Alexandrovsky told reporters at the EEF.
«»As part of the settlement, 300 billion rubles will be allocated from the National Welfare Fund for all airlines. But with the condition that the air carriers will also use their net profit for the settlement. Pobeda Airlines received 15 billion rubles of net profit, which will be used in full for the insurance settlement on the group's aircraft,» he said.
In addition, the head of the company clarified that other airlines are also obliged to use their net profits for settlement. “If Sibir is involved in the settlement, then it must also send its net profit. If Ural Airlines, then so too,” he explained.
