MOSCOW, September 13The DPRK is interested in the opportunity to cooperate with Russia in the field of aviation, transport and infrastructure, the past negotiations were very meaningful, said the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov on Channel One.
«The Korean side is showing great interest in the development of bilateral ties,» — he said.
“In general, the negotiations were very important, very meaningful,” Peskov said, noting that the visit of the DPRK leader to the Russian Federation itself is an important event. “They are interested in the possibility of cooperation in the field of aviation, transport, and reconstruction of infrastructure,” he noted.
The leader of the DPRK is visiting Russia for the first time since 2019; he arrived in the Russian Federation on his famous armored train. Kim Jong-un is accompanied on the trip by the head of the DPRK Foreign Ministry, Choe Song-hui, the head of the military administration department of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party, Park Chong-chon, and the deputy head of the central military committee, Ri Byung-chol.
