MOSCOW, September 14 A man, because of a quarrel, tried to kill his beloved and set fire to the apartment where she was, a criminal case has been opened, senior assistant to the head of the capital's main department of the Investigative Committee told reporters RF Yulia Ivanova.
““A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of crimes… “attempted murder, committed with particular cruelty in a generally dangerous way” and “deliberate destruction or damage to property,” she said.
According to the investigation, on the night of September 14 A 32-year-old man, because of a quarrel, set fire to the door of the apartment his partner was in. The injured woman with burns was hospitalized.
““Currently, the person involved is detained, investigative actions are being carried out with him,” Ivanova said, adding, that in the near future the investigation will ask the court to arrest the defendant.
