Maxim Rakitin also emphasized the importance of using new and clean sponges or rags when washing, warning that old materials can act as an abrasive on the car's surface, which can potentially cause harm.
He also noted that that you should not use dishwashing detergent when cleaning your car, since the chemical composition of these products, although similar to car wash products, is intended for completely different purposes. Instead, in the case of severe contamination of the car, the expert recommends using specialized car washing products.
