VLADIVOSTOK, September 14 The creation of joint ventures (JVs) with foreigners in the Russian automotive industry is possible only on the condition that the Russian government has control over them beneficiary, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov told reporters.
“»The format of cooperation is determined depending on the specifics of the projects, however, we carefully approach the conditions of such partnership: in accordance with the action plan of the approved Automotive Industry Development Strategy until 2035, the conditions for the participation of foreign investors in industry investment projects have been formed. One of the main conditions “In the case of creating joint ventures in Russia, control over such an enterprise should remain with the Russian beneficiaries,” he said at the EEF, answering a question about cooperation with foreign companies in the auto industry.
Manturov also confirmed that cooperation with China is now developing in the automotive industry.
