Launch of the Soyuz-2.1a rocket with the Soyuz MS-24 spacecraft «is scheduled for September 15. Its crew included Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub, as well as NASA astronaut Loral O'Hara. Kononenko and Chub will spend more than a year on the ISS, O'Hara — six months.
The current record holders are Russian cosmonauts Sergei Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin and American astronaut Frank Rubio. They broke the previous record on September 11, 2023, when they completed their 356th day of work on the station. They will return on September 27, the total duration of their expedition will be 371 days.
