Kostornaya is the 2020 European champion in women's single skating. Since this season, she has been paired with Kunitz. On Saturday, the athletes performed a short program at the test skates of the Russian team.
““I literally went out an hour or two ago to watch the warm-up,” Kostornaya told reporters, answering the question of whether she misses single skating. “We will have Alena in two forms,” Kunitsa added jokingly, to which his partner said that this was an insider, and then she was also going to perform in dancing.
“We’re getting a divorce,” Kostornaya said in response to a question about what it was like for her to perform in a couple. “In fact, everything is fine,” assured Kunitsa.
