Nuclear conflict. The US announced Washington's new dangerous course in Ukraine

MOSCOW, September 15. US actions in Ukraine could lead to a nuclear conflict, said Max Abrams, professor of political science at Boston's Northeastern University. Newsweek writes about this.
According to the expert, the administration of American President Joe Biden and NATO allies have taken a dangerous and destabilizing course in Ukraine.
«»They have thrown all caution to the wind. Biden continues to agree to the supply of weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces that previously could not be transferred due to the risk of escalation: from Patriot air defense systems to Abrams tanks, cluster munitions and F-16 fighters. The last such dangerous decision could be sending to Kiev ATACMS systems,” he noted.
According to the political scientist, an indicator of the new radical approach of the American authorities was the attacks on businessman Elon Musk, who refused to turn on Starlink terminals at the request of the Ukrainian leadership for attacks on Crimea. In response to this decision, supporters of the war in the United States called the businessman a “traitor.” Liberal political commentator Rachel Maddow, in turn, said that Musk thus wants to prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine from “winning” in the conflict.

“The new mantra (in the West. — Ed.) seems to be like this “We cannot say that we are making enough efforts in Ukraine until we feel a nuclear explosion right above our heads,” Abrams concluded.

Russia previously sent a note to the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance over arms supplies Ukraine. As Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted, any cargo that contains military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine will become a legitimate target of the Russian Aerospace Forces. The Foreign Ministry also emphasized that NATO countries are “playing with fire” by supplying weapons of destruction to Kyiv. Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, in turn, recalled that pumping Ukraine up with weapons from the West does not contribute to the success of Russian-Ukrainian negotiations and will have a negative effect.
