The authorities of annexed Crimea held the first auctions for the sale of “nationalized” property of Ukrainian businessmen

The first eight auctions for the sale of “nationalized” property belonging to Ukrainian businessmen were held in annexed Crimea. This was announced by the Russian-appointed head of the Crimean parliament, Vladimir Konstantinov.

“Purchase and sale agreements have been concluded for an amount of over 815 million rubles. The lots included residential properties and commercial real estate,” Konstantinov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Konstantinov added that the auctions are continuing — now, according to him, four residential premises worth about 27 million rubles are being auctioned, and in total it is planned to sell about 100 objects of “nationalized” property, including the apartment of the family of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

The authorities of annexed Crimea reported on the “nationalization” of the Yalta apartment of the wife of the President of Ukraine Elena Zelenskaya and the Mejlis building in Simferopol in May of this year. Then Konstantinov said that the proceeds from the sale of Ukrainian politicians and businessmen would go to the “needs” of the relatives of the participants in the invasion of Ukraine and the mobilized dead.

The order for the “nationalization” of property associated with the “Kyiv regime” was given by the head of the annexed Crimea, Sergei Aksenov, back in October 2022. In February 2023, the Crimean authorities reported the “nationalization” of 700 properties owned by Ukrainians.

As RBC wrote, Zelenskaya bought an apartment in the Imperator residential complex in the village of Livadia on the Black Sea coast in 2013, before the annexation of Crimea .
