The day before, the joint press service of the courts of St. Petersburg said that the Leninsky District Court terminated the administrative case for “discrediting” the army against local resident Tatyana Sichkareva. Today the press service told the publication “Rise” that this case has not yet been considered.
“The message is not true. The case has not yet been considered. There was an error in entering data into the database,” the press service claims. At the same time, yesterday’s report from the St. Petersburg courts cited a court ruling.
So, on the morning of September 15, a post with the heading “You can die just like that” was published in the telegram channel of the press service; it was deleted in the evening, but a copy of the publication was preserved in the archive.
The message said that on June 7, 2023, a resident of St. Petersburg, Tatyana Sichkareva, went to the selection point for military service under a contract in Podezdny Lane with a poster “Don’t go to kill, don’t go to die,” which is why she was attacked drew up a protocol on “discrediting” the Russian military (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code).
According to the deleted publication of the press service, the court ruled that since the activist in the police refused to explain on the basis of Article 51 of the Constitution, the content of the poster “did not allow it to be correlated with a special military operation.” “Death and murder can be not only a consequence of an armed conflict with the participation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation,” the post said.
“The inscription on the poster in this case is interpreted broadly and its true meaning is not confirmed by the case materials, and the conclusions the official who compiled the protocol are conjectures,” the press service quoted the court’s decision.
The termination of the administrative case against Sichkareva was also mentioned in the case file on the website of the Leninsky District Court, but at about 20:00 the information in it was edited.
