BARNAUL, September 20 A resident of Barnaul poisoned the water that military personnel could drink, the man was charged with attempted treason and terrorism, reports the press service of the FSB Directorate for the Altai Territory.
“»It was established that a Russian citizen born in 1981 proactively reached out to citizens of Ukraine through social networks, in communication with whom he began to express radical views on the political course of the Russian Federation and readiness to support the Ukrainian armed forces. As proof of his intentions, the man poisoned the water , intended for mobilized military personnel,” the message says.
The man filmed the entire process, which he sent to representatives of Ukraine involved in recruiting Russians to organize terrorist attacks. The press service clarified that the servicemen did not have time to drink the poisoned water.
«The criminal intent of a resident of Barnaul was promptly suppressed by operational officers of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Altai Territory. A criminal case was opened against the citizen under Part 3 of Article 30, Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted high treason) and 3 Article 30, Part 1 Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted terrorist act). He was charged. At the request of the investigator, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention,» the press service notes.
