MOSCOW, September 21 Shots are heard in Stepanakert in Nagorno-Karabakh, reports the Armenian state agency «Armenpress» with reference to local residents.
On Thursday, in the city of Yevlakh, 100 kilometers northeast of Stepanakert, a meeting of representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenians of Karabakh began on issues of reintegration based on the Azerbaijani constitution.
«Shots were recently heard in Stepanakert… At the moment, the shooting has stopped,» the agency said in a statement.
Armenpress posted a video with the sounds of shooting on its YouTube channel. Other details are not yet known.

On September 19, Azerbaijan began “anti-terrorism measures of a local nature” to restore the constitutional order in Karabakh. Yerevan called what was happening aggression and stated that there were no Armenian units in the region. A day later, with the mediation of Russian peacekeepers, an agreement on a ceasefire was reached; among the conditions of the truce, in particular, the disarmament of Armenian forces and the withdrawal of heavy equipment from Karabakh were outlined.
