BAKU, September 20 The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan expressed condolences Russia in connection with the death of Russian peacekeepers in Karabakh.
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Wednesday that a car with Russian peacekeepers came under small arms fire near the village of Janyatag in Nagorno-Karabakh, and the military were killed. The department added that Russian and Azerbaijani representatives of the investigative authorities are working on the spot.
“We express our deepest condolences to the leadership of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, the families and relatives of the fallen servicemen and ask for patience,” the Azerbaijani ministry said in a statement .
