MOSCOW, September 20 Remote electronic voting never will not supplant voting at polling stations, we are introducing modern technologies in parallel with traditional ones, said the head of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation, Ella Pamfilova.
“This is not assumed in our strategic developments. We are introducing new technologies in parallel with traditional ones,” Pamfilova said at a press conference , dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Russian electoral system.
According to her, measures are being taken to ensure that the polling station is “worthy of our citizen.” Therefore, as the head of the Central Election Commission added, this year the commission is conducting serious monitoring of the condition of all polling stations in all respects.
“We have made special decisions so that the rights of each participant in the election process — observers, representatives — are fully ensured. The media, the commission and, of course, the voter,” Pamfilova said.
