MOSCOW, September 20 Russian presidential elections, which are scheduled for March 2024, could take place within a few days, said the head of the Russian Central Election Commission, Ella Pamfilova.
When asked by journalists whether it is possible to say that the presidential elections in 2024 will be held within a few days, Pamfilova replied: “ It’s possible.”
“Because it wasn’t out of good luck that we came up with multi-day voting at one time — there was a pandemic. The system is very dynamic, and depending on external factors, we quickly put forward a proposal and were able to implement it… Now others conditions. Firstly, our citizen-voters felt how convenient it was,” said the head of the Central Election Commission.
Pamfilova added that it is impossible not to respond to the demands of society.
