SARATOV, September 18 On September 20, the Penza Regional Court will consider a complaint against the arrest of Honored Artist of Russia Ramila Iskander (Khisamova) in the case of attempted drug trafficking, the court’s press service reported .
Earlier, the press service of the Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Penza reported that on August 31 the court placed Khisamova in custody until October 21 inclusive, she was charged with Part 3 of Article 30 and paragraph “d” of Part 4 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale size». The court noted that the defense filed an appeal against the arrest decision.
“The meeting is scheduled for 14.00 Moscow time on September 20,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
A source in the security forces previously reported that Iskander was detained in Moscow after a total of about two kilograms of mephedrone was found in her home and car; she refused to testify. The information about 2 kilos of mephedrone was confirmed by another source in law enforcement agencies, who mentioned that in addition to this, the actress was found to have a dose of cocaine (less than a gram).
Earlier, the press service of the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT), where the artist works, told the agency that she would be replaced by colleagues in the performances where the actress was performing.
