He noted that Romania agreed with Kyiv’s proposals outlined in the plan and made its comments.

According to him, Slovakia also evaluates the Ukrainian plan as one that can be adopted, while Kyiv is obliged to provide all necessary documents with additional explanations by Friday. With Hungary, as the minister noted, Kyiv is carrying out the same work. He also said that he spoke with the Polish minister today; according to him, they “constructively” discussed the proposals of the Ukrainian side.
«The Polish minister has a vision of how this will work. It is necessary to provide materials in writing. A telephone call is planned next Wednesday at 9.00, a broader discussion of issues is planned so that no one will be ashamed in front of their farmers,» he concluded.
On September 15, the European Commission decided not to extend restrictions on the import of four types of Ukrainian agricultural products into several EU border countries, but obliged Kyiv to introduce export control measures. After this, the authorities of Slovakia, Hungary and Poland announced that they were extending the ban unilaterally. In particular, Hungary extended the ban on a national basis; 24 products were included in the list of prohibited imports. In addition to grains, the list included various types of meat, poultry, eggs, honey, vegetables and wine. In this regard, Ukraine filed a complaint with the WTO. In response, three EU countries announced that they would boycott meetings of the coordination platform on Ukrainian grain.
