MOSCOW, September 22 Russia's budget deficit in 2024-2026 will be covered mainly through borrowing, the authorities tried to minimize it as much as possible, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, opening a meeting of the Russian government, which is considering the draft federal budget for 2024 and the planning period 2025-2026.
«We tried to minimize its deficit as much as possible. And we envisaged that it would be covered mainly through borrowing,» Mishustin said, speaking about the parameters of the draft of the new three-year budget of the Russian Federation.
