MOSCOW, September 22, Dmitry Edigarev. Communications service of the Russian football Union (RFU) stated that over the past two seasons, the school of coach Leonid Slutsky was paid expenses in the amount of 4.7 million rubles to participate in the Youth Football League — South.
Previously, the RFU Ethics Committee fined Slutsky 100 thousand rubles and conditionally suspended him from football activities for one year for words addressed to journalist Vitaly Borodin. Slutsky, commenting on the episode on the YouTube channel “Comment.Show,” called the journalist a “19-year-old moron.” Commenting on the fine on the air of the same show, Slutsky said that the RFU had never given a penny for the maintenance of his sports school and now decided to take 100 thousand rubles from him.
““Over the last two seasons, the RFU has paid the Slutsky school expenses in the amount of 4.7 million rubles for participation in the Youth Football League — South and 150 thousand rubles for balls,” the RFU reported.
