The Russian Federation's decision to ban the export of motor fuel provoked an increase in prices for diesel in European countries, writes the Guardian.
Moscow, as noted in the material, plans to stabilize the situation on the domestic Russian market, while the restriction does not apply to the EAEU states.
Diesel fuel prices in EU rose by 5% and now amount to “more than $1,000 per ton,” the publication states.
