On September 19, the press service of Krylia Sovetov reported that in the first half of the game with Baltika, Ushakov received a traumatic brain injury and an ambulance was called for him. After the game, Samara head coach Igor Osinkin said that the player suffered a concussion. The footballer remained in Kaliningrad until Friday for medical reasons.
“»Ushakov flew to Samara. The doctors gave him a rest. We hope that next week Egor will start training,» the press service of «Wings of the Soviets» reported.
Ushakov was rented by Krylia Sovetov from CSKA Moscow in the summer. As part of the Samara team, he took part in two matches, without scoring any effective actions.
