MOSCOW, September 22 The ruble to dollar exchange rate will strengthen by the end of this year, the American currency will cost 94 rubles, in 2024-2026 a new the balance will be formed at the level of 90-92 rubles per dollar, said Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov.
«By the end of this year, the ruble will strengthen to 94 rubles per dollar. In 2024-2026, taking into account changes in the structure of payments and the level of capital outflow a new equilibrium will be formed at the level of 90-92 rubles per dollar,” Reshetnikov said, presenting on Friday at a government meeting the main parameters of the forecast for the country’s socio-economic development for 2024-2026.
As a representative of the Ministry of Economic Development previously told reporters, the main Forecast parameters assume an average value of the dollar exchange rate in 2023 at the level of 85.2 rubles, in 2024 — 90.1 rubles, in 2025 and 2026 — at the level of 91.1 and 92.3 per dollar, respectively.
< br />In the second half of September, the ruble is trying to stabilize with a moderate tendency to strengthen: the dollar is heading below 96 rubles.
