MAKHACHKALA, September 21 Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko and the head of Dagestan Sergei Melikov opened the Lezginka dance house in Makhachkala, the correspondent reports.
““I want to congratulate you all on this and congratulate the residents of Dagestan on this wonderful long-awaited event. The Lezginka ensemble is not an ensemble, it is a unique phenomenon, there are no analogues in the world,” Matvienko said during the opening.
She noted that 500 children can study in this palace — “five times more than before.”
