A video is being circulated on Russian telegram channels, which allegedly shows the consequences of the destruction of a peacekeepers' warehouse in Nagorno-Karabakh. In particular, the video was published by military correspondents Yuri Kotenok and Alexander Kots, as well as military analyst Boris Rozhin.
The publications report that Azerbaijani military personnel were involved in the attack on the warehouses. There is no exact information about the date and place of filming of the video, but military correspondent Yuri Kotenok writes that the video was filmed “on September 19 or 20 in Artsakh.”
The video shows people in military uniform, Russian flags and a thick cloud of smoke — probably formed after the impact. The sounds of explosions can also be heard in the background, and a voiceover speaks of a hit at the warehouse.
On September 20, the Azerbaijani army fired at a car with Russian peacekeepers, mistaking them for members of “illegal Armenian armed formations” — As a result, five people died. According to the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office, this happened “due to the difficult terrain and foggy and rainy weather conditions.”
The next day, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev apologized to Vladimir Putin for what happened, and Russian agencies reported the detention of suspects in the death of peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.
On the same day, the Azerbaijani department claims , in the village of Dzhanyatag, “unidentified members of illegal Armenian armed formations” fired at a KamAZ truck of Russian peacekeepers, as a result of which one soldier was killed and another was wounded.
