The German Armed Forces responded to reports that the Russian Armed Forces in the Zaporozhye region were able to hit a Ukrainian German-made Leopard tank, which was controlled by German military personnel.
“There are no German tank crews in Ukraine,” the Bundeswehr said in a statement.
The press service of the German Armed Forces also noted that Berlin does not send its military to participate in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine.
