MOSCOW, September 25The Russian economy is entering a growth trajectory, we have overcome the most difficult period, but this does not mean that hothouse conditions await us, said Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matvienko.
The head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Maxim Reshetnikov, spoke at the Federation Council on Monday as part of the “government hour”.
Following the minister’s speech, Matvienko noted that a set of measures is needed, “the Central Bank’s key rate alone cannot solve the problems.”
At the same time, she noted that, despite the most difficult conditions, we have entered a growth trajectory.» And today we are already talking about what percentage of GDP growth, about economic growth, the speaker said.
«» This means that we have overcome the most difficult period, but this does not mean that hothouse conditions await us ahead. Therefore (it is necessary) to continue to increase momentum at the same pace,» she emphasized.
And, of course, the Federation Council is interested in the development of the economies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, the parliamentarian concluded.
