MOSCOW, September 26, Andrey Vasilchin. Ukrainian footballer Artem Milevsky has become a legend. But is it sports? More like nightlife. Accidents, drunken sprees on the eve of the most important match with Shakhtar Donetsk for the Ukrainian Cup, numerous romances… Unfortunately, the promising “Milya”, as they like to call the striker in the football community, never reached the heights that were predicted for him.
Although there were prerequisites. The guy was eager to play for the “zhovto-blakitnye” and for the sake of this he refused his native Belarus; was spectacular at the youth level and became one of the creators of the main success in the history of Ukrainian football. In 2006, Oleg Blokhin's team became the quarterfinalists of the World Championship. In the 1/8 finals, the Ukrainians beat the Swiss in a penalty shootout — admire what kind of “panenka” young Milya put in.
In total, Milevsky played for a dozen teams during his professional career. And not a single one from the top championship! The best line in his biography remains Dynamo Kiev, where Artem won the main trophies.
- Three gold medals of the Ukrainian Championship;

- The title of the best scorer of the Ukrainian Championship in the 2009 season /10.
There were also business trips with adventures to Turkey and Croatia, Romania and Hungary, Belarus and even Russia. In the 2016/17 season, Milevsky unexpectedly found himself in the Football National League (FNL): the Ukrainian was sheltered by Tosno from the Leningrad region, where he played 17 matches and did not score a single goal.
In 2021, the ex- the forward of the Ukrainian national team and Dynamo Kiev withdrew from sports, gained a lot of weight and, as fans expressed on social networks, frankly “drunk himself.”
Milevsky's friend Evgeny Seleznev sounded the alarm, who in an interview with local media complained about Artem's lack of motivation to change something in his life. At the same time, he was ready to help Mila at any moment, calling on everyone to get together and join efforts to save the famous athlete.
At one of the recent events, Milevsky appeared in a depressing state. It was obvious what the outcome was all going to.
The day before it became known that the hero of the 2006 World Cup was in hospital in serious condition. Mili’s former partner on the national team, Alexander Aliyev, spoke about the dark streak in the life of the “Kent” in his video message to subscribers:

"I want to clarify the situation on the Milevsky topic. Thank God, we managed to put him in the hospital. He's been there for five days already. The condition is, of course, very serious, but nothing. Doctors are struggling. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Dynamo Kyiv. and, of course, to the president of the club, Igor Mikhailovich Surkis — he covered all expenses entirely. So, I will let you know what the situation is. I go to him and visit him in the hospital all the time.”
Later, journalist Konstantin Andriyuk published an invoice on his Telegram channel to pay for Milevsky’s treatment. For a week-long stay of a 38-year-old patient in the hospital with consultations, medications, laboratory and diagnostic tests, Surkis paid 175 thousand hryvnia (more than 450 thousand rubles).
The legend of Ukrainian football has reached rock bottom. There is nowhere to fall lower.
