MOSCOW, September 29 Number of victims in an explosion near a mosque in Pakistan increased to 70, 13 people were killed, authorities believe that the explosion was carried out by a suicide bomber, Dawn reports.
Earlier, the ARY News TV channel reported that due to an explosion in the city of Mastung in the province of Balochistan, 12 people were killed and more than 40 were injured. Among the dead is a deputy chief of local police.
“At least 13 people were killed, including a police officer, and 70 were injured in what officials believe was a suicide bombing near a mosque,” the publication said in a statement published on his website.
Police believe the suicide bomber detonated an explosive device near the deputy superintendent's car.
