According to law enforcement officers, from July 2021 to May last year, a policeman, through the mediation of a former lawyer and other accomplices, demanded 14 million 400 thousand rubles from the entrepreneur. For this amount, he offered patronage of his business activities and connivance in his service. The man refused to hand over the money and reported the extortion to the police.
Currently, a criminal case has been opened for attempted bribery. The selfish police officer is currently in custody.
