WASHINGTON, September 29 The US House of Representatives voted against the exclusion assistance to Ukraine from the State Department budget for 2024.
The amendment of the eccentric congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene was rejected by the votes of 342 members of the lower house, 90 of their colleagues were in favor.
The initiative prohibited funding for Ukraine within the budgetary allocations for the activities of the State Department and foreign assistance in the next year.
According to the draft interim budget, the US Senate proposes to agree on a reduced amount of funds for Ukraine in the form of $4.5 billion from the Pentagon and $1.65 billion from the State Department until November 17.
