YAROSLAVL, September 29 The industrial production index in the Yaroslavl region exceeded the Russian average, reports the regional government.
“Based on the results of eight months of this year, the industrial production index in the Yaroslavl region amounted to 106.9%, while the Russian average was 103%,” the regional government said in a statement.
Governor of the Yaroslavl region Mikhail Evraev emphasized that industrial growth continues in the region. In January–August, the volume of industrial shipments by enterprises in the region amounted to 415.9 billion rubles.
“The support measures that we introduced as part of the work of the anti-sanctions headquarters have yielded positive results. We continue to provide businesses and enterprises with all the necessary assistance,” the head of the Yaroslavl region emphasized.
According to the regional government, growth in output in January-August of this year was shown by such industries as repair and installation of machinery and equipment (+35.5% compared to the previous similar period), production of vehicles and equipment (+30 .5%), electrical equipment (+30.3%), tobacco products (+30%), metallurgical products (+26.6%), chemicals and chemical products (+20.8%) and a number of others.< br />
