MOSCOW, September 29. Russian weapons were designed with the need to destroy Western equipment in mind, former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the Gegenpol YouTube channel.
“Russian weapons are designed to gut NATO tanks, even your little supertank (Leopard. — Ed.),” he noted.
According to Ritter, Russian tanks are superior to Western models on the battlefield because they are controlled by motivated and well-trained soldiers.
In addition, Russian equipment is cheaper than its foreign counterparts, and its repair does not take much time and does not require much effort, which allows you to quickly return to the front line and continue to perform assigned tasks, the officer concluded.
Last Saturday, the commander of a reconnaissance group operating in the Zaporozhye direction, with the call sign Legend, reported that Russian intelligence officers destroyed a Leopard tank transferred to Ukraine with an entirely German crew consisting of military personnel of the German Armed Forces.
