It is specified that the engines of the Progress MS-24 cargo ship, docked to the Zvezda service module of the Russian segment of the ISS, were turned on at 15:01 Moscow time and worked for 381.7 seconds, producing an impulse of 0.55 m/s. As a result, according to preliminary data from the Flight Control Center of the Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation), the average altitude of the station's orbit increased by 0.86 km and amounted to 417.78 km.
< br />During the entire flight of the ISS, 347 corrections to the altitude of its orbit were carried out, including 193 using the engines of the Progress spacecraft.
The launch of the Progress MS-25 cargo ship from the Baikonur cosmodrome using a Soyuz launch vehicle 2.1a» is scheduled for December 1, 2023.
The crew of the 70th long-term expedition is currently working on board the ISS, consisting of Roscosmos cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko, Nikolai Chub and Konstantin Borisov, NASA astronauts Jasmine Moghbeli and Loral O'Hara, ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen and JAXA astronaut Satoshi Furukawa.
