Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said in his video message that this week has “significantly strengthened our country and our people.”
“Tomorrow there will be important news for Ukraine — for our soldiers, for our entire state,” Zelensky said.
He added that the country’s leadership is now working to ensure that the coming weeks give Ukraine internal strength and the necessary cooperation with the world.
Zelensky also recalled that these days the world remembers the tragedy of the Holocaust and the mass execution of about one hundred thousand people, mainly Jews, gypsies, and Soviet prisoners of war on September 29-30, 1941 by the Nazis at Babi Yar in Kiev.
