SIMFEROPOL, September 30 Zaporozhye region is integrating at an accelerated pace as a full-fledged subject of the Russian Federation, said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government region Andrey Kozenko.
On Saturday, September 30, the Zaporozhye region celebrates its first anniversary as part of Russia. This day has been declared a holiday and a day off in the region.
«In just a year and a half, through joint efforts, we managed to create a full-fledged subject of the Russian Federation. Integration is proceeding at an accelerated pace,» Kozenko said.
According to him, as in any other region of the country, MFCs have been opened in the Zaporozhye region, government support programs and preferential bank loans are available, investors can take advantage of the preferential conditions of the created free economic zone.
«Over the entire period of operation of the socio-economic block, we have restored the work of 122 industrial enterprises, with plans to launch 240 enterprises within three years. In general, more than 12.5 thousand economic entities are registered in the region today,» the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized .
According to him, in the Zaporozhye region today there is a fairly low unemployment rate — 2.9%. At the same time, about 8 thousand jobs were created at industrial enterprises in the region alone.
«We see that the federal authorities have their finger on the pulse of the process of restoration of new regions and quickly respond to emerging challenges. Together we find solutions to problems,» Kozenko emphasized.
