Since 2022, the European Union (EU) has allocated 80 billion euros for support to Ukraine, of which over 25 billion euros are for defense financing. This was announced by the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell.
“Currently, we have provided military assistance alone in the amount of at least 25 billion euros. The total amount of support reaches 80 billion euros,” said the European diplomat during a press conference in Kiev.
On Saturday, September 30, Josep Borrell arrived on an unannounced visit to Odessa, and on Sunday he visited Kiev, where he met with President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, as well as Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
