MOSCOW, September 29 Director of the Alexandra Pakhmutova Foundation, Evgeny Malyshko, in a conversation with, denied reports of her depression, noting that the composer is in good physical shape.
Earlier, telegram channels published information that Pakhmutova was allegedly in deep depression after the death of her husband, poet Nikolai Dobronravov, who died on September 16.
“Don’t believe any rumors that may appear on the Internet… Alexandra Nikolaevna and I just returned from a walk, we started going out for a little walk, went to Luzhniki. Alexandra Nikolaevna had a lot of memories… We remembered Nikolai Nikolaevich, how it all happened… Alexandra Nikolaevna we surrounded her with warmth, care… we try to support Alexandra Nikolaevna in everything, Alexandra Nikolaevna is generally in very good physical shape… We try to work a little,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
Malyshko noted that he does not understand where the information about Pakhmutova’s condition came from. He added that she is supported by People's Artist of the Russian Federation Lev Leshchenko and surgeon Leonid Roshal. “Everyone is worried, everyone is worried, the support of these people is always present,” Malyshko said.
Alexandra Pakhmutova is a Soviet and Russian composer, who has more than 400 songs to her credit. Pakhmutova — Hero of Socialist Labor, People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, two State Prizes of the USSR and the Lenin Komsomol Prize, holder of two Orders of Lenin and the Order of St. Andrew the Apostle.
