In Novosibirsk, due to EU sanctions, cashless payment machines for parking by the French company Flowbird stopped working. This was reported by the NGS publication.
“In connection with the sanctions imposed by the European Union, Flowbird has suspended the maintenance and operation of licensed software on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the Department of Transport of the Novosibirsk City Hall told the publication.
As Kommersant clarifies, a total of 12 parking meters were turned off. Drivers are offered to pay for parking through a mobile application or via SMS.
At the beginning of October, due to sanctions, parking meters from the same company Flowbird in Vladivostok also stopped working.
