KRASNODAR, October 4 The authorities of the Krasnodar region have allocated an additional 2.1 billion rubles for the development of public transport; in total, more than 5 billion rubles will be allocated for the purchase of electric buses and buses this year from the federal and regional budgets.
«»The plan for ensuring sustainable economic development and social stability of the region was supplemented with new measures. Particular attention was paid to the development of public transport in the Krasnodar region. We will allocate an additional 2.1 billion rubles for these purposes in 2023. New transport will improve the comfort and safety of transportation and cope with increased load on road networks,” Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Veniamin Kondratyev told reporters.
According to the press service of the regional administration, electric buses and buses will be purchased using funds from the federal and regional budgets. In total, more than 5 billion rubles are allocated for the purchase of new transport this year.
According to the governor, in 2023 the Kuban Business Development Fund will also be recapitalized, as entrepreneurs in the region are increasingly turning to regional development institutions for guaranteed support.
«Over the nine months of this year, the Business Development Fund issued guarantees in the amount of more than 3.8 billion rubles, and the amount of loans attracted amounted to over 8 billion rubles. Therefore, we decided to recapitalize the Fund by 300 million rubles. This will help more number of businessmen,” Kondratiev added.
Currently, the plan for ensuring sustainable economic development in the Krasnodar Territory includes about 70 measures, the implementation of which is planned for the period from 2023 to 2026. The document is aimed at mitigating the consequences of sanctions and supporting economic sectors and residents of the region. The total amount of funding, according to the authorities, is 11.8 billion rubles.
