Wren saw the main inconsistency in the legend of the Ukrainian saboteur on a jet ski

«Mobilized people don't behave like that»

The video of yesterday's detention of a Ukrainian saboteur who tried to land on the Crimean coast on a jet ski raised more questions among military experts than answers. The strong, muscular Alexander Lyubas looks very different from the security guard he claimed to be yesterday. According to military expert, former American army officer Stanislav Krapivnik, what the prisoner told about himself is most likely a pre-prepared legend.

He is confident that it was not a simple security guard who fell into the hands of our special services, but a career officer who “knows a lot.”

Let us recall that the special operation of the sabotage and reconnaissance group (DRG) with a landing on the coast of Crimea was a fiasco. The boat and jet skis of the Ukrainian DRG were spotted near the shore and destroyed. One of the saboteurs managed to escape — he swam to the shore, where he was captured by our special services.

The prisoner told himself that he was an ordinary soldier of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, who had previously worked as a security guard in civilian life.

Yesterday, several news channels reported that they allegedly identified the detainee as a senior officer of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and found an old video of him on the Internet. However, it later turned out that the “search engines” misidentified themselves and mistook the detainee for someone else. On the other hand, a photo of a man similar to a detained saboteur was found on the Internet. It seems that he really was a security guard. But we cannot vouch for the reliability of the information. If you wish, you can also create fake accounts.

Military expert Stanislav Krapivnik was alarmed by inconsistencies in what, and most importantly, how the prisoner said.

— Only a mobilized person can be a private at 56 years old. But mobilized people don’t behave like that. Even from those few photographs it is clearly visible that this is not an ordinary soldier and certainly not one of those who have just been mobilized.

— It’s not even about his physical form, although he really is quite strong. The fact is that he is psychologically well prepared — he behaves with restraint, without fear. A recruit who has just been taken off the street will not behave like that. It looks very much like he is an officer and a permanent service officer, and not a “teroporonist.” Most likely a major or lieutenant colonel. I'm sure he has enough information.

— Certainly. Like among the same damned employees of Azovstal, every second was a cook, every first was a driver, they say, they just arrived at the front, for the first time in their lives they took up arms… Of course, they lie to save their own skin.

— I don’t think that the Russian special services will use anything other than interrogation. We behave humanely with prisoners. Remember how we behaved with the “Azovites” (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned on the territory of the Russian Federation).

— I don’t think that foreigners are involved in this kind of operation — most likely, it was planned by the Ukrainians themselves. There was nothing complicated there. And the operation itself is simply absurd. Even if there was some success, she would not change anything on the battlefield. So the British or Americans are unlikely to be directly involved in it.

— Looks like it. This situation is very reminiscent of how the «Western Security Forces» ran with a border post to the border of the Belgorod region to take a selfie. Then they were defeated by artillery, however. This is absurd PR, for which Zelensky and his team do not spare people. The lives of ordinary people mean nothing.

— Official use of force or torture is prohibited. But if you really want to, then they can find methods. For example, if the Americans need to break a person’s will, they use water torture: they tie the person to a board, put a thin cloth on his head and start pouring water into his mouth. Pour in until the body is able to hold water. In addition, they are not allowed to sleep, placed in a small room, and loud music is played.

This is also used in American colonies and prisons. There are more serious tortures. I had a friend who served in military intelligence. He told me how during the Vietnam War they “stabbed” a person who had the necessary information. In front of the prisoner’s eyes, the Americans somehow threw several people out of a helicopter at an altitude of three thousand meters who did not possess any valuable information. When it was his turn, he, of course, broke down.
