“Rostov” appealed to the FIFA football tribunal in the case of Norman’s departure

MOSCOW, October 5, Andrey Mikhailov. “Rostov” appealed to the football tribunal of the International Football Federation (FIFA) in the case of the departure of Norwegian midfielder Matthias Normann, the club reported.
On October 3, Rostov President Artashes Harutyunyants said that the club had filed a complaint regarding the Norman case. Two days later, the press service of the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) stated that at the moment no one had contacted CAS about this case.
““We do have a case with CAS regarding Norman in connection with Norwich’s failure to pay for the player’s loan. And in the case of his departure from Rostov, we appealed to the FIFA football tribunal,” Rostov said in response upon corresponding request.

Earlier, the Russian Football Union (RFU) notified FIFA of its refusal to issue an international transfer certificate for the transfer of Rostov player Mathias Normann, who played for Dynamo Moscow on loan, to the Saudi Al-Raed. The general director of the capital's club, Pavel Pivovarov, said that Norman left Russia because of drones from Ukraine. Dynamo and Rostov, which owns the rights to the Norwegian, planned to sue the football player.
